Block Cup Event Progression & Farming
Scoring mechanics, upgrade priorities, mutation values, and base layout for active and AFK progression.

By Bloxron Editorial Team · Last updated
Season ended July 18, 2026 (PT). Block Cup matches, goals shop restocks, and leaderboard payouts are no longer live (Part 2 Roblox card closed Jul 18 10:00 AM PT; award ceremony Jul 19). Keep this guide for mutation values (Block Cup 38×, Undead 35×), Battle Pass quest notes, and any brainrots you already earned.
Block Cup Event Overview
The Block Cup update introduces a limited-time competitive event in Roblox Kick a Lucky Block, featuring event currency, leaderboard progression, and upgrade-based farming systems. This guide covers core mechanics, upgrade priorities, and base layout tips with practical in-game values.
Update 8: Goals Currency & Carnival Event
Update 8 (Jun 13, 2026) introduced goals as the Block Cup event currency. Participate in Block Cup matches (runs every ~2 hours), kick balls back to the safe zone, and exchange goals in the Block Cup Shop.
Goals Robux Packs
| Pack | Goals | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Small | ×50 | 99 Robux |
| Medium | ×100 | 199 Robux |
| Big | ×200 | 399 Robux |
| Large | ×500 + 100 free | 799 Robux |
| Insane | ×1250 + 250 free | 1999 Robux |
Carnival Weather Machine Event
A new Carnival option in the Weather Machine spawns Carnival lucky blocks with a 3% chance — rolls the Carnival mutation (37x). Summon by sacrificing Tralaledon (Celestial) + Anpali Babel (Celestial) + Ketupat Kepat (Eternal) + Espresso Shockantoni (Eternal), or spend 999 Robux.
Update 9: Block Cup Part 2 (Jun 27, 2026)
Block Cup Part 2 ran through July 18, 2026 (PT) on the Roblox event schedule. Phase 2 refreshed leaderboard tiers, expanded Block Cup Shop stock, and added parallel progression through quests and a 20-level Battle Pass — farm goals currency and quest XP while the season card is archived.
Zombie Apocalypse & Undead (35x)
The Zombie Apocalypse weather event rolls Undead lucky blocks at a 4% rate — a 35x event mutation between Phantom (25x) and Heavenly (32x). Pair Undead farming with 16× server luck windows and Eternal Plus / Abyssal kicks for high-base brainrots. See the Mutations wiki for the full multiplier ladder.
Abyssal zone brainrots
Update 9 opens the Abyssal yard past Eternal Plus. You need roughly 30B kick power to reach it reliably — the Big Jupiter weight ($1SP or 3,199 Robux) helps players who are still short on raw power. Ten Abyssal brainrots sit in the loot pool:
- Lucky Fella — $5M/s base
- Coinator Baconator — $6.5M/s base
- Dribbloni Spaghetti — $7.5M/s base
- Divinello Starblock — $8.7M/s base
- Pulcino Pistoletti — $10M/s base
- Cordraculo — $10M/s base
- Harpini Goosini — $11.2M/s base
- Tubafante — $12.5M/s base
- OctoDJ — $15M/s base
- Turtinella Melodica — $16.5M/s base
Full earnings table: Brainrots wiki.
New Exclusive brainrots (Update 9)
Five percentage-based exclusives joined the roster alongside Abyssal units — several also appear on Battle Pass milestone tracks:
| Brainrot | Income multiplier |
|---|---|
| Balberto | 125% |
| Stadoni | 200% |
| Soccerdino | 225% |
| Netini Goalini | 225% |
| Cone Cone Cone Sahur | 300% |
Block Cup quests & Battle Pass
Quest XP feeds a 20-level Battle Pass (Level 0 → 1 needs 500 XP). A progress table in the bottom-right tracks daily and weekly objectives.
| Quest | Type | XP |
|---|---|---|
| Cover 2.5K studs (kick) | Daily | 15 |
| Collect 10 brainrots | Daily | 25 |
| Train 225 times | Daily | 40 |
| Kick 20 times | Weekly | 200 |
| Collect 15 Diamond brainrots | Weekly | 700 |
| Collect 40 brainrots | Weekly | 250 |
Notable pass rewards include kick-speed styles (Flip kick, Tornado kick), timed luck and cash potions, kick tokens, and exclusive brainrots such as Stadoni, Soccerdino, Netini Goalini, and Cone Cone Cone Sahur at higher tiers.
Phase 2 leaderboard & shop notes
- Team James / Miki / Shon leaderboards continue — cumulative team score still matters for end-of-season placement.
- Refreshed Block Cup Shop tiers stack with goals currency from matches — prioritize ball upgrades before one-time cosmetics if you are still farming Undead blocks.
- Rejoin if the event shop UI fails to load on first join (known Phase 1 issue that can persist into Part 2).
Event Scoring & Core Mechanics
The Block Cup event is centered around kick distance performance, timing accuracy, and survival during each run.
Scoring System
Players charge and release a kick using a timing-based power bar system.
- Higher accuracy timing generally improves consistency
- Longer ball travel distance leads to higher score output
- Advanced zones (Mythic / Eternal-tier areas) provide better reward scaling
After each kick:
- A tsunami wave travels across the map
- Players must return to the safe zone before being hit
- Movement speed directly affects survival consistency
For kick meter timing fundamentals, see the Perfect Kick guide.
Leaderboard Rewards
Event rewards are distributed based on total accumulated score. Orange balls earned during the event also work as shop currency at the Block Cup Shop.
| Placement | Reward | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Top 1 / Top 3 / Top 10 | Cuppy | 1000% |
| Top 100 / Top 1000 | Medali | 1000% |
| Participation | Bronze Medali | 150% |
Leaderboard placement is determined by total event performance over time. For long-term climbing strategies, see the Leaderboard guide.
Team System
Players join a permanent team via the Team Manager near the leaderboards. Choose one of three teams — this choice cannot be changed:
- Team James
- Team Miki
- Team Shon
Three leaderboards track performance: most dedicated team, best player score, and total team score.
- Teams contribute to cumulative event performance
- Higher activity teams generally perform better in rankings
- Team participation can improve overall reward efficiency

Lucky Cup Blocks & Block Cup Mutation (×38)
The Block Cup Shop sells Lucky Cup blocks containing six brainrots that can roll the Block Cup mutation (38x) — the top shop-route event multiplier at launch: Castlino Fortini, Bambu Sahur, Bottellini, Beluga Beluga, Astro Tim, and Smelloni Papayoni. See the Mutations wiki for the full tier list.
Event Shop & Upgrade Priority
Event currency should be spent strategically to improve progression efficiency.
Recommended Upgrade Order
- 1. Bigger Balls Upgrade
- Improves trajectory stability
- Reduces deviation during kick travel
- Helps reach higher scoring zones more consistently
- 2. Variants / Rarity Upgrades
- Higher-tier variants increase reward multipliers
- Commonly improves farming efficiency in mid-game progression
- 3. Kick Styles (e.g. Karate Kick)
- Adds movement or speed bonuses
- Helps improve survival and active farming efficiency
Upgrade Strategy Notes
- Early-game focus should be on consistency upgrades
- Movement speed upgrades cut tsunami risk a lot
- Cosmetic upgrades have lower priority until mid/late progression
Base Layout & Mutation Value
Base income and mutation scaling are key systems for long-term progression. Values below are observed in-game ranges and may vary depending on updates or balancing changes.
Unit Value Classification
Units are generally grouped by cash-per-second (CPS) efficiency:
- Low-tier units: below ~10M/s
- Mid-tier units: ~10M/s – 17M/s
- High-tier units: ~17M/s – 22M/s+
Lower-efficiency units usually get replaced so stronger ones can take the slots.
Mutation Income Scaling (Observed Values)
| Mutation | Base Income | Scaled Income (Approx.) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carnival | Carnival Event | 37x event-tier | Update 8 — 3% weather window |
| Undead | Zombie Apocalypse | 35x event-tier | Update 9 — 4% event window |
| Block Cup | Lucky Cup blocks | 38x event-tier | Top shop event mutation (Update 8) |
| Heavenly | ~18M/s – 19M/s | ~200B – 300B+ scaling | Strong long-term value |
| Alien | ~11M/s+ | ~100B – 150B+ scaling | Can appear via special mechanics |
| Bacon | ~11M/s+ | ~100B – 150B+ scaling | Similar tier to Alien |
| Phantom | ~18M/s – 19M/s | ~200B – 300B+ scaling | Utility + visual variant |
| Volcanic | ~18M/s | Event-based scaling | Limited availability |
| Astral | High variability | Endgame-tier scaling | Extremely rare |
| Eternal | Very rare | Highest scaling tier | Estimated drop rate <0.001% |
For full mutation multipliers and drop paths, see the Mutations wiki and How to Get Mutations guide.
AFK Progression & Scaling
- Mid to late-game bases can reach trillion-level cumulative earnings over time
- Offline earnings depend on unit placement efficiency, upgrade levels, and system or server caps
Long AFK sessions may approach system-defined accumulation limits depending on game version.
Event Multiplier Windows
During limited-time boost periods:
- Standard multipliers typically range from x2 – x4
- Rare global/admin events may reach x10+ temporary boosts
- These windows raise mutation odds and income while they last
Drop Rate Estimates
- Mid-tier mutations (Heavenly / Alien / Bacon): ~3% – 5%
- High-tier mutations (Astral / Eternal): much rarer
- Exact drop rates are not officially confirmed and may vary by update
Known Issues & Stability Notes
UI Loading Issues
- Event shop or team UI may fail to load on first join
- Rejoining the server usually resolves missing interface elements
Tsunami Timing Desync
- Wave timing may appear inconsistent in some sessions
- Adjusting movement timing or server rejoin can help restore normal behavior
