Windy Peak → Breathing at 25 → Final Selection from 45 → Crow / Slayer Progress → Togane Forge at 65.
By Bloxron Editorial Team · Last updated

Slayers 2 drops you on a large map with almost no tutorial. The Slayer route is Windy Peak quests → Breathing at Lv25 → Final Selection from Lv45 → Crow / Slayer Progress → Togane's Forge at Lv65. Farm Zuko's Cutlass early, follow the minimap red dot, and save Wen for weapons and Skill Tree unlocks before cosmetics.
Reach Lv25 with Wall Climb or Double Jump, a usable weapon (ideally Zuko's Cutlass), then pick Breathing trainers or the Demon path. Slayers enter Final Selection at Lv45 minimum (about Lv60 recommended for a first solo run), then push toward the Lv65 Forge.
Slayer progression order
| Stage | Next objective |
|---|---|
| Before leaving Windy Peak | Kona's Lost Pages → Book of Guidance; buy a katana from Raze; set a nearby spawn crystal |
| Levels 1–10 | Krue bandit repeats → Mini Boss Zuko for Cutlass → Betty's Gemstone at Bamboo Grove (Lv10) |
| Levels 13–18 | Tom's bear hunt, then Mother Bear |
| Level 25 | Start your chosen Breathing trainer questline (mats + trainee fight) |
| Levels 26–34 | Chaka → Kaiden's Subordinates repeats; if locked, finish earlier village handoffs (Kazu's notes → Noote → Chaka; Lucy points toward Tom) |
| Level 34–40 | Kaiden quest, grind toward 40 |
| Level 40+ | Wagwan under the waterfall below the bear area — repeat guard quests while building mastery toward ~60 for solo exam comfort |
| Level 45 minimum (~60 solo) | Final Selection → Hand Demon → return to The Sisters |
| After Final Selection | Equip Crow, unlock Ren (gourds) and Ginzo (sell shop), develop Slayer Progress / mastery, check crafts before dumping mats |
| Level 65 | Blacksmith Togane → The Forge (details on the Nightfall page) |
First session steps
Create your character and read clan passives
Load Slayers 2 (place 16205713724 by Ouw Productions). Finish character creation, then open the clan roll UI. Passives like EXP, drop luck, or damage compound early — a strong Legendary can beat a weak Mythic for the first hours. Start with a workable clan; optimize after you know which style you enjoy.
Roll and Save a clan
Spins overwrite an unsaved clan. Legendary and higher warn before replace. Save early if the roll is usable, then read keep pairings on the clans page when your style or Demon build is set.
Redeem codes and claim the Book of Guidance
Join the Ouw Productions Roblox group, then redeem active codes on the main menu. Before leaving Windy Peak, talk to Kona and finish Recover the Lost Pages (all five pages are in the village) to claim the Book of Guidance — it points you at recommended progression NPCs.
Buy a Regular Katana from Raze and follow the red dot
Buy the Regular Katana (about 500 Wen) from Raze's Sword Shop in the center of Windy Peak so Sword Mastery starts immediately. Skip Fancy Katana (1,500 Wen) — the stat bump is tiny versus saving for Cutlass / forge upgrades. Set spawn at purple crystals near your grind and follow the minimap red dot.
Krue bandits to Zuko, then Betty's Gemstone at Lv10
Levels 1–6: repeat Krue's defeat-three-Bandits quest. Level 7: take Krue's Mini Boss Zuko quest and farm the Cutlass (about 20% drop) plus Double Cut / Quick Draw. At Lv10, start Betty's quest on the Bamboo Grove cliff above the waterfall, then dive for her gemstone (details below) — finishing it ASAP can jump you toward Lv13.
Tom's bears, Skill Tree movement, then Breathing or Demon at Lv25
Levels 13–18: Tom's bear-hunting and Mother Bear quests. Unlock Wall Climb and Double Jump first — they open trainer cliffs, exam traversal, and night travel for Muzan. You gain 3 Skill Points per level. Slayer: trainer at Lv25. Demon: about -40 reputation, then Muzan at night.
Zone leveling path
Follow the minimap red dot. Once multiple zones are open, rotate Zuko → Mother Bear → Kaiden.
| Levels | Zone | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 1–15 | Windy Peak · bandits + Zuko | Krue repeats; Zuko Cutlass; Betty Gemstone (Lv10); Kona Lost Pages; Raze katana |
| 15–35 | Bear area · bears + Mother Bear | Tom's quests; Mother Bear; unlock shrines; Kuro at night |
| 26–45 | Chaka → Wagwan | Kaiden subordinates / Kaiden boss; Wagwan guard quests under the waterfall |
| 45–65 | Final Selection → Crow route | Exam, Slayer Progress gourds, Ginzo funding, early crafts |
| 65+ | Forge / Ouwigahara | Togane Forge quest, Firstlight / Nightfall weapon goals |
Level up faster
- Stack main quests with side objectives on the same route — skip distant one-offs.
- Busier servers can boost quest EXP — compare the payout after a server hop, and judge by quests completed per minute.
- Boss kills pay a large EXP chunk plus drops; rotate Zuko → Mother Bear → Kaiden once those zones are open.
- Unlocking a quest does not make it your best grind — judge by successful clears, not respawn counts.
- Equip titles that grant Quest EXP (M → Titles). Up to three Titles equip for buffs; unlocked passives still apply.
- 2x EXP from the shop costs Wen or Ore — use when you are already on a dense farm route.
Skill Points
- Can't reach a trainer or exam ledge? Buy Wall Climb / Double Jump before another damage node.
- Keep dying before the fight ends? Invest in HP and block branches.
- Run out of stamina mid-combo? Shorten the string and check stamina nodes.
- Just unlocked Breathing? Bank points for your first useful techniques before spreading the rest.
- Character level ≠ mastery — swing the weapon and style you intend to keep.
Betty's Gemstone (Lv10)
Start Betty at Bamboo Grove (Lv10+)
Betty stands on the cliff above the large waterfall overlooking Bamboo Grove — about 600 units left of Windy Peak when you leave spawn. On the minimap, stand just above the letter R in Grove. Her quest only starts at level 10.
Jump the waterfall and dive the left bank
Drop from the top of Betty's waterfall, walk the left riverbank, pass the red bridge, and reach the rocky left-bank corner. Dive there — the gemstone is dark blue, two pyramids glued at the bases. Press T to pick it up (it does not auto-loot).
Rewards auto-complete
Collecting the gem finishes the quest without returning to Betty — about 700 XP and 240 Wen. Done at Lv10, that payout can push you toward Lv13 quickly.
Early weapons and katana path
| Weapon | How | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Katana | Raze's Sword Shop, Windy Peak · 500 Wen | Buy first. Starts Sword Mastery that carries to later blades. |
| Cutlass | Zuko mini-boss outside Windy Peak · ~20% | +1 Additional Damage, 1.01× ADF, +0.45 Block. Top early farm — skip Fancy Katana. |
| Fancy Katana | Raze · 1,500 Wen | Skip. Only +1 Additional Damage for triple the Regular price. |
| Style boss katanas | ~5% from style trainers as bosses (Flame / Wind / Sound lead the drop set) | Best mid-game boss blades before Firstlight / Nightfall crafts at Hidden Mist. |
| Enryu / Shinkage / Tengoku | Yagane armory, Hidden Mist · Crude Iron Ingots | Early post-exam crafts. Inspect recipes before dumping mats. |
| Nightfall Katana | Schematic + Togane forge (see Nightfall page) | Strongest conventional sword: +5.75 Additional Damage, 1.14× ADF, strong block line. |
- Katanas come from shops, style-boss drops (~5%), and Hidden Mist crafts. Sword Mastery from your first blade carries forward.
- V2 / upgraded crafts need the base katana in inventory (Serpentine needs Serpent; Volcanic needs Flame; Tornadic needs Wind).
- Before Nightfall, Wind, Sound, and Flame boss drops are the strongest conventional blades you can farm.
- Nightfall Katana is the endgame raw-damage sword; Firstlight lines stay better all-rounders or style-locks (see Breathing / Nightfall).
Nightfall schematic routes and forge steps are on the Nightfall page.
Final Selection
From Mistfall Harbor, cross toward Butterfly Estate, take the long bridge south into Final Selection Plains, then follow northeast to Final Selection. Check the gate countdown in your server (exact repeat schedule is TBA) and be in the waiting area before entry closes.
| Requirement | Target | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level | 45 minimum · ~60 recommended solo | Entry opens at 45; extra levels buy room for mistakes on a first solo Hand Demon |
| Weapon | Iron Katana or a boss drop (Cutlass+) | Baseline DPS so the fight does not stall |
| Breathing | Unlocked with core moves practiced | Safe damage, spacing tool, and a defensive answer ready without staring at the hotbar |
| Cash / heals | About 25 Wen for Bandages at Klien + healing supplies | Klien's treatment objective needs Bandages from Rika |
| Group | 2–3 players when possible | Stages become much more manageable — still finish your own turn-ins |
Quest order inside
| Stage | What to do |
|---|---|
| The Sisters | Begin the trial and return after the Hand Demon — do not leave before the final turn-in |
| Rem | Collect apple, banana, and grapes |
| Vael | Defeat five Lesser Demons, then return |
| Klien & Rika | Recover Klien's katana from the nearby cliffside, buy Bandages from Rika (~25 Wen), complete the treatment skill check |
| Mizuto | Dive the pond's underwater cave, clear enemies, take the Submerged Key, use it for the dungeon, report back |
| Parkour dungeon | Three lives, timed obstacles; lever counts one → three → two across sections. Let Double Jump recover between jumps |
| Lavato | Hit Mountain Survival's four blue checkpoints before time runs out — ignore unrelated fights |
| Levi | Capture the marked camp, deal with Rogue Demons, then carry the civilian back to Levi (kills alone do not finish it) |
| Steve → Hand Demon | Start the boss, clear adds when the boss goes invulnerable, punish recovery windows, then return to The Sisters |
Completion awards Mizunoto rank, a Slayer Uniform, Ore, and a Kasugai Crow. Confirm rank and Crow before leaving — a dead Hand Demon is not always a finished quest.
Trainer unlocks are on Breathing.
After Final Selection
Equip the Crow and build mastery
Follow Crow bounty quests alongside fights you can clear consistently. Character level, weapon/style mastery, and Slayer Progress are separate bars — raising one does not finish the others.
Unlock Ren's gourds at Butterfly Estate
Return Ren's missing blade from near the waterfall to unlock his shop. Buy a gourd, equip it, and use it — inventory alone does nothing. Gourds raise Slayer Progress for permanent stats (exact prices TBA; read the shop and your bar).
Unlock Ginzo at Mistfall Harbor
Return Ginzo's Jewelry Box from his house in Hidden Mist Village to open his sell shop. Sell expendable coin junk for training funds; keep crafting mats, spare Mythic gear, and weapons until you check upgrade recipes.
Visit Hidden Mist smiths, then the Forge later
Togane handles upgrades and crafting; Yagane's armory sells Enryu, Shinkage, and Tengoku with Crude Iron Ingots — Equip for stats, Equip Vanity for looks only. At Lv65, start Togane's The Forge quest (Ouwigahara portal, recipes, Nightfall schematics) on the Nightfall page — do not farm mats until you read the craft you want.
Lv65 Forge quest, Ouwigahara portal, and Nightfall schematics: Nightfall.
Useful early Titles
Equip up to three Titles for buffs. Unlocked passives still apply when not equipped.
| Title | Unlock | Buff |
|---|---|---|
| Odd-Jobber | Complete 25 quests | Equipped 1.03× Quest EXP · passive +5 Max Stamina |
| Challenger | Defeat 10 bosses | Equipped +10 Max Health · passive +5 Max Health |
| Hard Hitter | Deal 50,000 total damage | Equipped +0.75 Additional Damage · passive +0.1 Additional Damage |
| Village Pillar | Complete 150 quests | Equipped 1.04× Quest EXP · passive +7 Max Stamina |
Fishing (optional)
Get the Fishing Permit at Mistfall Harbor
Talk to Dockmaster Sofen at the docks, accept the lost permit stamp quest, cross the river to the nearby house, take the stamp from the table, and return it to Sofen.
Buy a rod
Basic Rod costs about 3,500 Wen. Rare Rod costs about 10,000 Wen plus 5 Golden Fish. Fishing is optional early — skip it until Yen is not blocking weapons and Skill Tree nodes.
Beginner tips
- Bait-and-punish: wait for an opening, land a short sequence, then defend or reposition. Three safe hits beat seven that get interrupted.
- Buy Fast Travel shrines you actually revisit (Hidden Mist, Mistfall, Butterfly Estate, snow village) after training money is covered.
- Horse mount (~15,000 Wen + taming minigame around Bamboo Grove): Shift to run, double-tap Shift to gallop — travel upgrade, not required for Slayer rank.
- Kuro (Black Market) spawns near Mother Bear at night and leaves at dawn — check each night cycle.
- Spend Ore on purpose: 2x EXP, mastery boosts, Breathing / BDA resets, or clan spins.
- One upgrade goal per farm session — a technique, a craft, or a progression bar — beats random inventory clears.
- Snow route landmarks: Old Trapper Retsu at the second gate from the bear area, then Iceveil Guard Shiro near the purple spawn crystal uphill.
- If every NPC is missing on a private server, ask the owner to run /pve on — /pve off removes NPCs.
Common Slayer progression mistakes
- Skipping Betty's Gemstone at Lv10 when you are already at Bamboo Grove
- Buying Fancy Katana instead of farming Zuko's Cutlass
- Spinning over a good clan before you Save it
- Skipping Kona's Lost Pages / Book of Guidance before leaving Windy Peak
- Reaching a trainer without mats or Wall Climb
- Confusing character level with weapon / Breathing mastery
- Spending every Skill Point before checking the next Breathing unlock
- Choosing hard content just because the quest unlocked
- Entering Final Selection at 45 with no practiced moves or Bandage money
- Leaving Final Selection before The Sisters turn-in / Crow confirm
- Treating Final Selection as the finish line — Crow, Slayer Progress, and Lv65 Forge still matter
- Equip Vanity only and wondering why stats did not change
- Pasting Part 1 codes expecting Slayers 2 rewards
Beginner FAQ
What should I do first in Slayers 2?
Create a character, Save a usable clan, claim Kona's Book of Guidance, buy Raze's Regular Katana, redeem codes, run Krue → Zuko → Betty (Lv10) → Tom, unlock Wall Climb or Double Jump, then branch into Breathing or Demon at Lv25.
Where is Betty's Gemstone?
At Bamboo Grove: talk to Betty on the cliff above the waterfall (Lv10+), jump down, follow the left bank past the red bridge, dive at the rocky left corner, and press T on the dark blue double-pyramid gem. Rewards auto-complete (~700 XP, 240 Wen).
Should I buy the Fancy Katana?
Usually no. Regular Katana at 500 Wen is enough to start Sword Mastery. Fancy is 1,500 Wen for only +1 Additional Damage — farm Zuko's Cutlass instead.
Do I need to play Project Slayers (Part 1) first?
No. Slayers 2 is a standalone reboot on place 16205713724 by Ouw Productions. Old codes and progress do not transfer.
How do you get the Book of Guidance?
Complete Kona's Recover the Lost Pages quest in Windy Peak. Find all five pages in the village and return them to Kona.
What level do you need for Final Selection?
Minimum 45. Around 60 is recommended for a first solo attempt — preparation advice, not a hard gate. Gear, moves, and teammates also matter.
How often does Final Selection open?
Exact repeat schedule is TBA. Check the countdown at the gate in your current server and arrive before waiting closes.
What should you do after Final Selection?
Equip your Crow, unlock Ren's gourds and Ginzo's shop, develop mastery and Slayer Progress, and equip useful Titles. At Lv65, open Togane's Forge on the Nightfall page.
When can you unlock the Forge?
At level 65 with Blacksmith Togane in Hidden Mist Village. Full Forge quest steps, Ouwigahara portal, and Nightfall recipes are on the Nightfall page.
When do Breathing Styles unlock?
Trainer questlines start at Lv25. Full trainer table and V0.145 loadouts are on the Breathing page.
Do you need a rare clan to become a Demon Slayer?
No. A useful clan helps, but it does not replace Breathing training or Final Selection. Start with a workable setup instead of spending every spin before playing.
How do I start the Demon path?
Push reputation to about -40 (Slayer kills about -9, civilians about -1), then find Muzan at night in Mistfall Harbor, Hidden Mist Village, or Iceveil Valley. The Demon page covers Spider Lilies and BDA rolls.
Why are NPCs missing?
Check height (roofs, cliffs, underwater trainers), your level, and earlier quest turn-ins. For Muzan, wait until night. For Final Selection, check the gate timer. On private servers, /pve off removes NPCs — ask for /pve on.
Are there codes for beginners?
Yes. Release26 and SkillTreeReset are active as of September 24, 2026. Join the Ouw Productions group and redeem on the main menu. Details are on the codes page.
Next: Breathing Styles for Slayer trainers, or Demon path for Muzan and BDA. Clan keep notes are on Clans.
