Damage and cost multipliers from Gold through Quincy, hourly and 15-minute event windows, Nen and Titan acquisition, and what to farm at each stage.

What mutations do
Mutations add a fixed damage multiplier to a unit and raise its placement cost. Each fighter can have only one mutation, separate from its trait.
How to get mutations
Normal rerolls
Gold and Diamond can drop anytime you reroll a unit on the summon banner — no event required.
Hourly events
Dragonborn, Beast, and Arrancar only roll in short windows each hour — be at the banner when the clock hits:
- XX:15 — Dragonborn
- XX:30 — Beast
- XX:45 — Arrancar
Titan mutation
Titan rolls every 15 minutes on its own timer. Same idea — reroll while the window is live for a shot at 5x.
Admin, Nen, and Quincy
All three sit at 6.5x. Admin is developer Admin Abuse only (cannot clone). Nen needs the Hunter Exam — feed Buhara a Sandwich. Quincy is its own Update 5 event window, not on the :15/:30/:45 clock. Merges still need matching name and mutation.
Clone Machine
Everything except Admin can be cloned. Copy a strong mutation instead of gambling the next event window.

What to chase by stage
- Early game: Gold / Diamond — Fine for early waves — buy if Cash allows
- Mid game: Dragonborn / Beast / Titan — Hit :15 / :30 windows; Titan every 15 minutes
- Late game: Arrancar / Admin / Nen / Quincy — Arrancar is the best hourly farm; the 6.5x trio is event-gated
FAQ
When do mutation events happen?
:15 Dragonborn, :30 Beast, :45 Arrancar every hour. Windows only last a couple of minutes — be ready to roll. Titan ticks every 15 minutes on its own timer.
Can I guarantee a mutation during an event?
No. Odds go up; rolls are still random.
Can a unit have more than one mutation?
No. One mutation per fighter. Traits stack separately.
Can I merge different mutations?
No. Name and mutation both have to match. Diamond Tenpachi only merges with Diamond Tenpachi — not Gold, not plain.
What is the best mutation?
Admin, Nen, and Quincy share 6.5x. Arrancar (5.5x) is the best one you can farm on the hourly clock. Titan (5x) is the reliable 15-minute chase.
Is Quincy still available?
It is an Update 5 event mutation, not part of :15/:30/:45. If the Quincy window is not live on your server, you cannot farm it that session — confirm the event UI in-game.
Can mutated units be duplicated?
Yes, except Admin. Everything else can go through the Clone Machine.
Multipliers and event times match current in-game behavior. Balance patches or schedule changes may shift values — pair mutations with the right unit tier for the biggest gains.
