Yard progression
Unlock order: Junk Yard → Back Alley → Power Plant → Farmyard → Shipyard → Lucky Bay → Business Bay. Move up when previews or cargo caps you, not when reputation alone unlocks the gate.
- Junk Yard → Back Alley (~$750 net worth): learn preview math and calculator caps on the Starter Truck (120 wt).
- Power Plant (~$7,500): ferry to the Aug 1 island. Tier 1 garage first; higher garages and Acid Rain unlock with net worth and Engineer quests.
- Farmyard (~$10,000): move to Flatbed or Cargo Van (~160-200 wt) when machinery previews routinely exceed your cargo ceiling.
- Shipyard (~$125,000): Heavy Lifter (~280 wt) or the Car Weight pass before max-bidding full industrial lockers; catch Cargo Ship dock events here (~$7,000 to board).
- Lucky Bay (~$2.5M, menus may say Lucky Beach): strong beach yard before Business Bay. Do not overbid until your hauler and shelf space match the previews.
- Business Bay: High End Apartment, Luxury Hotel, and The Pointer after Lucky Bay. Run the calculator on every high-base pull and confirm live net-worth doors after the late-August buff.

FAQ
What is Storage Hunters: Open World?
A Roblox auction tycoon where you bid on sealed storage lockers, haul contents to your shop, grade and list stock, and sell to customers. Progress unlocks mainland yards, the Power Plant island, Lucky Bay, and Business Bay.
How do auctions work?
An NPC opens lockers in each yard. You watch a short preview, press E inside the bid zone to raise your offer, and load whatever you win before leaving. Previews show base values, mutations apply at the shop counter.
How do mutations stack?
Multipliers add together at sell time: they do not multiply. Silver (2×) plus Gold (4×) pays at 6× combined. See the mutations page for the full list and run the calculator before you bid.
What should I prioritize after Junk Yard?
Push net worth toward Back Alley (~$750), upgrade your truck before Farmyard machinery, and price out big pulls in the calculator before raising your bid. Power Plant ferry opens around $7,500.
How do I pick a max bid?
Match the preview to an item in the list, toggle the mutations you expect, and enter your top offer in the calculator. Stop when net profit hits zero, previews ignore mutation value.
How do I unlock new areas?
Yards and islands unlock in order: Junk Yard → Back Alley → Power Plant → Farmyard → Shipyard → Lucky Bay → Business Bay. Common gates: Back Alley ~$750, Power Plant ~$7,500, Farmyard ~$10,000, Shipyard ~$125,000, Lucky Bay ~$2.5M. Business Bay lists separate net-worth doors per garage—confirm exact numbers on the in-game unlock UI. Cargo Ship is a separate timed Shipyard event (~$7,000), not a permanent yard.
Are there redeem codes?
Not yet. As of September 15, 2026 there is still no in-game code box. Wild West and earlier drops did not add a redeem UI, so working code lists elsewhere are fake.
Did the Jurassic event end?
Yes: the Jurassic garages beside Farmyard closed July 25, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET. Wearable passives and the Prehistoric Car you already earned stay in your inventory; new Jurassic lockers no longer spawn in normal auctions.
Did the Alien Invasion event end?
Yes. The Aug 15-22 limited event with Alien Market loot and temporary garages closed when Business Bay went live. Items and wearables you already earned stay in your inventory.
What is Wild West?
