Big and Huge pets

Roughly doubles a pet's passive boost when the spawn rolls Big. Costs double the normal map price when bought off the spawn timer.

Even rarer than Big. Per-pet Huge bonuses use early spawn logs — recheck the pet card when a Huge lands.

Spawn odds for Big and Huge are very low and not yet pinned down in the live UI.

🐉	Black Dragon	Super	utility	1M	Big: 2M	Eats ripe fruit on a short cooldown, then lays an egg after enough fruit. Guild-reward Super pet — Big/Huge variants eat more often. Confirm live hatch pool once you claim one.
	Fox	Super	thief	5M	—	Unreleased thief — sneaks out at night to steal a seed from another player and bring it back. Big steals 2 seeds; Huge steals 3. Confirm spawn odds once buyable.

	Shadow Dragon	Super	utility	20M	—	Unreleased mutator — listed with a 10% chance to apply Veil when you sow a plant. Confirm cadence and Big/Huge scaling once the pet is obtainable.
	Swan	Super	utility	20M	—	Unreleased farming pet — periodically spits water on nearby plants to speed growth. Spot/splash radius scales with Big and Huge. Confirm spawn path once live.

FAQ

How do map pet spawns work?

Pets randomly appear between the shop hub and gardens with a countdown timer. Buy one with Sheckles before the timer expires or the spawn despawns.

Can someone steal a pet I already paid for?

Yes, until it reaches your garden. Another player can outbid you while the pet is still walking — escort it home immediately to lock it in.

What is a contested pet price?

If a map pet is already heading to another player's garden after you buy it, the cost doubles — Bunny goes from 20k to 40k, Frog from 10k to 20k, etc.

What are big pets?

Big versions cost double and apply double ability strength — Big Owl doubles night vision versus regular Owl, and Big pets generally use the bigPrice column.

Which pet helps with Gold mutations?

Golden Dragonfly doubles Gold proc chance on plants and fruit. The big version is confirmed at 3× Gold chance.

Which pet helps with Rainbow mutations?

Unicorn doubles the chance for plants and fruit to turn Rainbow — the highest-value variant tier listed so far.

Can you get pets from eggs?

Yes. Several companions hatch from eggs and can also appear as map spawns. See the egg hatch pools table for which pets share both paths — exact hatch odds are still being verified in-game.

How many pet slots can you unlock?

Everyone starts with 3 slots. Spend 200K for a 4th slot, 1M for a 5th, and 5M for a 6th.

Is the Gnome a pet?

No — Gnome is Gear Shop equipment that defends your plot from thieves. There is no separate Gnome pet on the map roster.

How do Legendary pet spawns work?

When a Legendary pet appears on the map, the game surfaces a banner alert. Move quickly — other players can claim the same spawn.

What about Wolf, Dog, Hedgehog, Squirrel, and Turkey?

Those five sit in the July 15 pet batch listings and remain unreleased — treat prices and abilities as early listings until they show up as buyable map pets in your server.
